<p>A prototype is used so a pre design in full scale may be experimented with. Changes can be made to further improve the quality and performance of the design. The prototype could also be made to see whether the design would ever be able to sell out or work.</p>
<p><strong>2.) Discuss another industry other than the car industry that would use prototypes.</strong></p>
<p>Industries like creating aeroplane for international flight also use prototypes. They do this so they can test their flight and make it more efficient for passengers. Prototypes have helped this industry develop better aeroplanes as time moves forward. Comparing the old planes in the late 20th century and the early 21st century.</p>
